Wizz Air has launched a new subscription plan in the UK, allowing customers to lock in the price of flights and ancillary charges for a 12-month period.
Described as “Europe’s first flight subscription plan”, the MultiPass option is established in Italy and Poland, and has now been extended to Albania, the UK and the UAE.
MultiPass subscribers pay a monthly fee starting from £59.99 one way, entitling them to fly once a month on international routes to and from the UK.
The pass aims to eliminate the changes in fares that would normally be encountered when booking last-minute or in high season.
Subscribers can opt for a flight only pass (£59.99 one way or £119.99 return), a flight plus Wizz Priority benefits pass for £92.99/£185.99, flights plus 20kg checked luggage for £102.99/£205.99, and flights plus Priority and checked luggage for £135.99/£271.99.
Customers can make their first booking immediately after taking out a subscription, for flights taking place at least five days later, or they can opt for the subscription to start the following month and can then take a flight starting from the sixth day of the month and during the following 29, 30 or 31 days, depending on the month.
The subscription plan lasts 12 months and cannot be cancelled once a customer has signed up (aside from the initial 14-day cooling off period). Note also that MultiPass flights cannot be modified once booked.
The following blackout dates apply, during which flights are unavailable under the MultiPass subscription:
- 25-27 May, 2024
- 24-26 May, 2024
- 20-21 December, 2024
- 24-26 December, 2024

Wizz Air said that in the UK the MultiPass can help passengers save up to 40 per cent “on tickets between even the most popular summer destinations this year”.
