Ryanair has incorporated a digital feature to its onboard service allowing passengers to order snacks and duty-free items through its app. The in-house developed order-to-seat solution is currently deployed across its Dublin-based fleet. The system was devised as an internal project as a solution to providing inflight services without affecting the plane’s fuel drag. COO Neal McMahon shared information about the system during the Future Travel Experience 2024 event in Dublin.
