The Department of Tourism Bhutan has successfully completed its first Indian Tourism Roadshow, conducted from June 17-21, 2024. The event, marking the 50th anniversary of tourism in Bhutan, was held in major Indian cities Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata, with the aim of increasing tourism during the summer season. The roadshow was well-received, attracting over 600 companies and 700 Indian travel agents. It featured 18 exhibitors from Bhutan, including top tour operators.
