As 2025 approaches, the Airlines Reporting Corp. (ARC) announced
the publication of New Distribution Capability (NDC) best practices.
The NDC best
practices were developed by the NDC Advancement Working Group, which
consists of airlines, global distribution systems (GDS), travel technology
providers, travel agencies, consolidators, and travel management companies
(TMC).
“NDC adoption is vital for the travel industry to meet the
evolving needs and expectations of travelers,” ARC senior manager Paige Blunt
said. “By embracing the NDC best practices, airlines, agencies and travel
technology providers can take advantage of more personalized offers, improve
efficiency and foster stronger partnerships.”
