The initiative, a blend of webinars, podcasts, and blogs on important topics in travel and tourism, is designed to enhance skills and spark innovation in Belize’s tourism sector.
Gonzalez noted that BTF was born from his lifelong commitment of using tourism as a tool for economic development in Belize.
The Project is made possible through an Emergent Ventures grant from the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.
Gonzalez noted that leading Belizean companies like Belizing and the Lodge at Chaa Creek are championing this initiative, partnering to amplify our reach and catalyze innovation across Belize’s tourism landscape.
BTF is designed for emerging and mid-career professionals within the tourism sector, including business owners, managerial staff, and frontline employees.
