The cruise industry veteran told TTG that he parted ways with the two-ship expedition line “on good terms”.
“I’ve decided to focus on my next adventure,” Dewing said.
Posting on LinkedIn on Monday (5 February), he wrote: “So, last week was my last week at AE Expeditions. It has been a very difficult decision to leave AE And I pay tribute to a truly incredible bunch of people globally (land and sea) and a fantastic team here in the UK too in outside and inside sales.
“My time at AE has been hugely rewarding, learning so much about the true nature of expedition and small-ship travel from some of the best and most experienced people on the planet.
“I would like to thank everyone for an amazing experience.”
He added: “There is no question that AE will go from strength to strength and I am proud to have been a small part of this journey.”
