IPOH: In a strategic move to amplify the Visit Perak Year 2024 campaign, tourism Perak has launched a series of YouTube and TikTok content designed to promote the state’s attractions on social media platforms.
As highlighted by Peraktastic in a Facebook post, state tourism, Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Committee chairman Loh Sze Yee expressed confidence that this initiative holds great potential in penetrating both domestic and international markets, thus energising the Visit Perak Year 2024 campaign.
“The current trend indicates that the general public is inclined towards social media over traditional print media.
“Therefore, this initiative is seen as a pivotal effort in presenting Perak to a broader audience, including international cooperation,” he said during a press conference following the initiative’s launch at Miker Signature, Silveritage Complex today.
