COP30, EU-CELAC Summits Fuel Brazil & Colombia’s 2025 Tourism

Brazil and Colombia are emerging as significant global tourism destinations and hosts for major international events, according to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). Both nations are set to host high-profile summits in 2025, which are expected to boost their global standing, attract investment, and stimulate tourism growth.

Brazil will host COP30 in Belém, Pará, in 2025. This event positions Brazil as a leader in sustainable tourism and highlights its vast natural beauty and potential for eco-conscious travel. The country is slated to host the EU-CELAC Summit in 2025, with discussions and events planned for Bogotá and Medellín. The WTTC acknowledged Colombia’s significant tourism recovery in 2023, attributing it to the country’s diverse cultural heritage, biodiversity, and improved security.
