The University of Georgia Athletic Association (UGA) and Delta Air Lines have announced a new partnership that will feature the Delta Air Lines logo on the playing field at Sanford Stadium. This collaboration marks a significant development, bringing together two prominent entities deeply rooted in Georgia.
The partnership will see the Delta Air Lines logo placed on the 25-yard line on both sides of the field. This new field branding is scheduled to debut on Saturday, September 7, 2024, coinciding with the Georgia Bulldogs’ home game against Tennessee Tech.
UGA expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting Delta Air Lines as a global leader headquartered in Atlanta with extensive ties to the state of Georgia. The university described the airline as a “perfect fit” for a partnership of this nature.
