British Airways’ (BA) owner IAG says it is one-third of the way towards its targeted 10% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) use by 2030 after signing its biggest-ever SAF offtake agreement late last month. US power-to-liquids (PTL) producer Twelve will supply IAG airlines that include BA, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Vueling and Level with 260 million gallons (984 million liters) of eSAF over 14 years starting next year.
