Istanbul and Sydney Airports Forge Key Passenger Partnership

iGA Istanbul Airport and Sydney Airport (SYD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to form a “sister airport” partnership. This agreement aims to enhance collaboration and improve the passenger experience between the two major international hubs, strengthening the connection between Türkiye and Australia.

The partnership was established to foster cooperation by sharing crucial information, best practices, and training opportunities. It also serves to support the recent launch of the first-ever direct flights between Istanbul and Australia by Turkish Airlines, a move that significantly boosts air connectivity between the continents.
